Seedheads
Had a very frustrating time with this blog today. Trying to post a slide-show. Looked all over the web for instructions, but nothing worked. It was clear though, that everybody has problems, there were many you-tube instructions, but all different. Oh well.....
Cheered myself up with some gentle drawing in my studio.
The large pod is Zantedeschia aethiopica commonly the Arum lily. It grows in my bog garden. I'm not sure I'm overly fond of it, but it seems happy and I quite like this time of its life.
I'm not sure what the others are. My friend brought them around last night. They are similar to plane tree baubles, but some of them aren't round at all.
Sorry to be so un-plantswoman-like, but I am sure I will find out eventually.
Added later: NB....Sweet Gum Tree. Looks vaguely like a plane tree but the leaves are much smaller.
