Blimey, it's cold.  A couple of weeks ago, we set off for a walk, but only managed a little one. Snow in the air and icicles on the beach, all along the cliff face. Enormous icicles that you really wouldn't want to stand under. Freezing!  We walked along Kilve Beach, which is really interesting. It is full of fossils and interesting  hard limestone platforms and shale rocks.

I collected some things from the beach. A root of  a blackthorn (I think) which had been washed down the river and had become wound up with seaweed.
