Two weeks ago I was at the RSPB reserve on the Somerset Levels - Ham Wall.

We saw a Marsh Harrier, Great White Egret and thousands of Starlings....well actually, a million and a half. Apparently, that isn't many, compared with what there used to be.  I started to think about reviving something I started a while ago.  These are some old sketches.  Definitely worth reviving I think.  Hope to show something finished in the, not too distant future.   There is a budgie on my shoulder as I type this!  Oh, and I joined the RSPB this week too.

  1. Anita, i saw a HUGe bird of prey this morning, as big as a large seagull, tail feathers like a trapeze shape; the tail was reddy brown colour..any idea what it was?

  2. Not sure what a trapeze shape is. Red Kite? they have a triangular cut out bit in tail.
